Delicious burger joint. We always drive by this place so finally decided to try it. The burger came out and was piping hot. I actually had to wait for it to cool down before eating, which is a rarity. The bacon used was actual real bacon and not freeze dried microwave stuff. When the waitress brought over the ketchup she shook it up for us. The garlic Parmesan fries come loaded with actual garlic and not sprinkled with just garlic salt. Can’t wait to come back.

The food is good but I didn't feel like they were trying very hard to be safe with Covid19.

Best burgers around. We took the kids to another location but the menu at all the locations is amazing. So much to choose from. And so fresh. The kids loved the food as well.

I go there about three days a week. The food is fabulous.

Whiskey BBQ Bacon burger with avacado is my go to. YUM!

Very very good experience.Great friendly bartender. And yes if you are second place in competition, you FIRST LOSER not second winner. Garlic Parm fries are unreal, bacon and egg burger unreal.I recommend to everyone. Did I mention the ice cold kilt lifter??

Horrid. The water taste garbage and we have been waiting hours for our food. The music is way to loud bathrooms dirty just bad.

Went in for take out. Sat down at the bar. They were pretty busy. I waited 10 minutes. Nobody even looked at me, let alone said anything. A simple "we'll be with you shortly" would have been fine. I guessed they were too busy to take my order, so I left.

Great food and great customer service !

This place is fab!!! I live close by, so stop in about once a week for a classic cheeseburger and a cocktail. Always run into friends, neighbors or new friends at the community table. Come on over, but PLEASE wear a mask!

Came to see the village of Anthem and decided to eat at Tru Burger co. Friendly service, well poured drinks, delicious food, and parking is what it is. Tru Breakfast burger has been one of the best breakfast burgers I've had. The Sazerac was beautiful. Dez was precious. Thank you for making our Friday night.

We had take out today, pear chicken salad, the Barbeque burger and fried pickle spears.. all was really good especially the pickles!

Pros - Guacamole and chips were great. Sweet potato fries were excellent.Cons - I ordered a burger medium well and I cut it in half and it was medium rare. I notified the waitress and she took the burger back to the kitchen. I received the same burger cut in half and noticed the edges were "browned" where I had cut the burger in half. I took a bite out of the burger and this is what I found. The burger was still medium rare.I was shocked that they brought the first burger back but reserved judgment thinking they would have cooked it to my specifications.When I found this out, I decided to stop eating. We came here because we had a gift card but will not be back.

1st time back in years and what a fantastic experience way to go Tru Burger. Fantastic servers, food, atmosphere. Very busy inside however no wait. They have stepped up there game!!!

Was seated in a timely manner. booth and seats were wet, didn't like Sitting in a wet seat. Buffalo chips were amazing chicken sandwich was amazing enjoyed a glass of wine everything was cooked perfectly great service.

Had an amazing experience here tonight. Waitress was tentative, the service was timely, the burgers we had were juicy, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. Additionally, they had an impressive variety of fries. This is not your typical fast food burger joint. It's more on the gourmet side, so understand that the menu prices are suited for that; penny pinchers will most likely complain. Anyhow, our family has no problem with the pricing as long as the food served is of quality. We plan to make this a regular restaurant to visit.

Love, Love, Love! Tru Burger in Anthem, AZ is our go-to for a treat! Daughter and I split a burger/onion rings and it's to die-for. Occ the onions rings aren't as crispy as we would like, just remember to mention to the server you would like them crispy. Our all-time fav!

Great service. Very attentive staff. Fries were absolutely fantastic! Burger was delicious. Quarter star off for worn, hard to read and slightly stained menus.

Had a great time! Ordered appetizers to enjoy while having a meeting. The wait staff was fabulous. We never felt rushed or hurried. We enjoyed the appetizers during the meeting and then ordered salads. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice.

The breakfast burger was messy, but tasty. We sat outside, which was pleasant but the surrounding area isn't much to look at (just surrounding buildings). Garlic parmesan fries sounded like a good idea, but they were not great. Our server was friendly and attentive.

I go down every xmas to visit family, and this is the first place I want to go to get a burger. The most amazing food ever. And the Garlic Parmesan fries are crazy good. Love it there, and am a permanent customer for sure.

Wonderful surprise. Thought it was just a "hamburger joint", delighted to find delicious food and a full bar! Plus really nice patio seating.

The avocado sticks were very salty but our waiter was great about removing them from the bill when we sent them back. The burgers were juicy and cooked perfect to order. The zucchini fries were great and thankfully not salty. Overall, a great dinner.

The food is amazing. I tried the California Burger with the Garlic Parm Fries and was not disappointed at all. You can it’s all made with fresh ingredients. Seriously so good. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I wanted to order a beer and the beer menu was not up to date and the they didn’t have the beer I wanted. We were told they change out taps weekly so the menu isn’t always accurate. Other than that you should definitely give this place a shot.

Pretty good food, but orders take quite a while once placed. I have experienced this several times. Get the sweet potato fries.

This is one of the best gormet burger shops in the State. The Habenero burger along with the zuccini fries is addictive. Put this on your list of places go... You'll be glad you did!!

After living in Anthem for over 6 months we finally came in, and I think we will become regulars here. Massive, delicious burgers, a great kids’ menu, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere plus a well-stocked bar make this the perfect place for a Friday afternoon happy hour and dinner. Highly recommend!!

DO NOT come here if you have a large group. We spent 30 min waiting for our bill to have the General Manager give us the bill with everyone on the same bill and it was explained to the waiter. The General Manager was absolutely no help. We waisted time and it was an absolute joke. And we had to stand around I get any help.

Could have been served faster. (Read the ending) My server took the order and disappeared for 20-minutes never checked on me once and then because it was running so late, I had to make it a to-go order. My onion rings were over cooked and my Patty melt bread too soggy. Go figure. I think I'll pass on this one.The owner reached out to me after seeing my review, which means he cares. I'm not going to reword my review but I will add that both the hostess and the server were very friendly and helpful when they found out I was in a time crunch. I'm always looking for excellent onion rings and when I give this place another try, which I will now... I hope to see epic ones here because the burger was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was very very good. Thanks for reaching out.

We had burgers, a green chili and a bacon cheeseburger, I believe. And garlic parmesan fries. The food was delicious. There was a wait before our waitress came to see us but once she did, she was great. We would go again.

Burger was good, blu burger w/o bacon, tasty quality meat. Brioche bun. Meals dont include fries just burger. Fries are disappointing, I am not an expert but skinny fries need to be served hot and I think its hard to get right. These came out slightly warm and just ok.Not sure how to fix that. I have had good skinny fries. Worth it burger is decent...but kinda pricey for just Burger no fries, if it was me I would throw a small order of fries with the burger because after all it a BURGER JOINT! So bottom line lots of places that gave comparable burgers with fries. So just saying if I want a burger I wont go out of my way to go here. No other complaints nice people decent service.

Truburger has become exponentially improved and better tasting since management has changed. To be honest from this place first opened up I despised it. The food was always cooked poorly and inconsistent. now with your new menu they have a nice variety of food and I have found the burgers and appetizers to be very tasty. They have a pretty decent selection of burgers and a wide variety of different Patty's you can use on your Burger to allow you to change it up as much as you want. They have a nice selection of alcohol in beer also as well as specialty drinks.

Never before have I been so excited about a burger place. This restaurant, hands-down, served us the best, juiciest, most flavorful burgers we've ever had. Period. Case closed. It's Arizona grass-fed Angus beef, prepared with care and finesse. I had the jalepeno burger, topped with battered and deep-fried peppers with just the right amount of spice left in them and perfectly tender. My wife had the California burger with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, avocado, herb mayonnaise on a delicious wheat bun. The brioche style roll on my burger was equally tasty.I'm usually price sensitive, but believe me, these burgers are worth every penny. The serving size is more than adequate, and they are flavorful beyond belief. We both split the garlic parmesan fries, a serving big enough for two, especially considering the size of the burgers. You won't leave here hungry.Need a good lunch? Anywhere near Anthem? Run, don't walk to Tru Burger. Now. You will thank me later. Tru-ly.

Stopped in this place for lunch reccomended by our oncologist...Fantastic! By far the best burger I have ever had EVER.We both had the classic burger, there's some very light hint of spice in the ketchup that is so good! We shared Parmesan Fries. Interior is cute and nice patio area. We will be back as we are in town for 4 weeks for chemotherapy. Did I say it was the best burger ever???

If you are on way out of Phoenix or you're on your way back, give Tru Burger in Anthem a try. Burgers are great, parm fries are excellent, staff is fun and cool with dogs, a very decent selection of beers and Justin behind the bar is unbelievably awesome.

Best burger I've ever had.

Tru Burger is the place to go. Their burgers are wonderful, moist and so delicious. They have a large selection to choose from. Try the garlic Parmesan fries( out of this world delicious. They have wonderful sandwich's if your not in the mood for a burger. They also have a nice selection of delicious salads. Try Tru Burger - you won't be disappointed. The service is great too.

First time there while visiting the area. I am not the biggest burger fan but loved the Italian burger (I think that was it). Hubby had the Hawaiian burger and loved it. Both burgers were cooked to perfection for us. Our server, Megan, was awesome and answered questions I had with a smile.

Love the BBQ whisky burger. They have great sweat potato fries and try the deep fried pickles! You can come to eat of hang out and the inside outside bar seating area. Good food and nice folks!
